Role Title: Technology Program Manager (International Operations)

BU/Segment: Banking, Analytics

Location:   Brighton, United Kingdom. 3 days per week in the office.

Summary of the role:

We are seeking a seasoned Technology Program Manager to take the helm of extensive operational changes and improvements across our international landscape. This role calls for a proactive leader capable of driving significant transformation and optimizing processes at a global scale. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse array of projects ranging from strategic analysis to hands-on resource coordination and stakeholder management.

 

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Leadership and Execution: Lead and execute a variety of international projects including but not limited to Japan Remittance process improvements, India laptop SWAT analysis, CCP Dedicated Support enhancement, and the strategic planning for new campus transitions.
  • Project Management: Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across different levels and regions. Understand and manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates and ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
  • SWAT Analysis: Conduct SWAT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analyses to identify strategic improvement opportunities across technologies and processes.
  • Resource Coordination: Efficiently allocate and manage resources to ensure that projects are completed within timelines and budgets.
  • Transformation Leadership: Drive transformation initiatives that streamline operations and enhance service delivery across the international spectrum of Site Services.
  • Problem Management: Address and resolve complex issues that affect the operations, effectiveness, and efficiency of international projects.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop comprehensive reports detailing the progress, hurdles, and milestones of ongoing projects, including strategic recommendations for future improvements.

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of managing complex international projects and leading transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience conducting SWAT analyses.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholder groups across multiple regions.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Enhance Japan’s remittance process.
  • Overhaul the laptop provisioning process in India through a SWAT initiative.
  • Implement a dedicated support structure for CCP.
  • Develop and execute a workforce strategy for engineers in India.
  • Manage the transition to a new campus in India.
  • Upgrade workstations internationally.
  • Oversee the Vodafone UK migration project.
